because I've been stuck in an apartment and been mid move for almost 6 months now and I'm going crazy now that I can finally see the end! Also,

1. Your first OC ever?
My first OC was probably Shezu—my username-sake and the water sage.
2. Do you have a personal favorite among your OCs?
I love all of my OCs to be honest, but some of my favorites for particular things are; Kakuei and Dy’meir are my favorite to draw traditionally. Lorne is my favorite design. And Ran is my favorite RP character Ever!
3. Have you ever adopted a character or gotten a character from someone else?
I have, in a way, yes! Lorance! I kinda share him with and am keeping my eye on him while she’s working on other things.
4. A character you rarely talk about?
Probably! Several I don’t even have on DA! One of my favorites I don’t talk about much is Kindle and Erren. They’re Thundercats 2011 OCs. Oh! And Alice one of my written OCs.
5. If you could make only one of your OCs popular/known, who would it be?
Popular how? Most of mine are already popular in my circles. If we’re reaching for the stars here, probably Ran/Shieldstar so she can be a true DC super hero!
6. Two OCs of yours that look alike despite not being related?
Probably Shezu and Ran which isn’t that surprising because Ran started out as Shezu for the DC universe.
7. Are your OCs part of any story or stories?
Some of them are their own/original stories; like Dy’meir, Jess, and Shezu.
For my fandoms, I have Transformers, Pokemon, DC Comics, Kingdom Hearts, Fire Emblem and more.
8. Do you RP as any of your OCs? If you do, introduce one of your RP OCs here!
I’ll RP with all of my characters but my most used and most known is Ran. (As is obvious by this and this both different outfit designs tailored around two different original rp worlds.)
9. Would you ever be willing to give any of your OCs to someone else?
Not likely.
10. Introduce an OC with a complicated design?
Probably one of my most complicated or detailed designs is Evelyn my Skyrim/Middle Earth crossover OC.

LOTS! Several of ’s OCs such as Dominic, Paden, and Esmond along with many others. I also like several of ’s such as Lorance, and Five (who doesn’t have a picture at the moment). And then there’s 
’s Leo, Sky, D’mitri and Max and several others.
13. Do you have any troublemaker OCs?
Not many, but a few minor trouble makers like the only little kids I have Nichola and Kindle
14. Introduce an OC with a tragic backstory
Pretty much all of my main OCs have tragic backstories. Most notably is Dy’meir’s, naturally, since in the club she is designed for is an afterlife clubs. In the club story, she dies, but in her story she lives and has to live with the pain and guilt for the rest of her life.
15. Do you like to talk about your OCs with other people?
Yes, absolutely!
16. Which one of your OCs would be the best at biology (school subject)?
Probably Maya though not in human biology.
17. Any OC OTPs?
For just my characters? On this site, no. For fanfictions, yes. Glinx (Glitch and Jinx. Glitch is a cute little stuttering irish mechanic—and he’s almost always covered in oil and dirt except for the ring where his goggles are—with red hair, green eyes, tan skin, and rust hair. Jinx is a cursed but friendly emo-ish (or perhaps visual-kei-ish)looking guy who’s confidant and smart and loves to tease his boyfriend). Jetich (Jess and Stitch, the bad guys of the same story as Glinx. Jess is a feminine but crazy, sadomasochist with the ability to float and teleport, who is missing an eye. Stitch is a silent, large, strong, dark skinned (more tan than chocolate) man with observant but nearly uncaring eyes.)
18. Any OC crackships?
For my characters? Probably Luclacer (Lucifer and Wordlacer, from the same story as Glinx and Jetich. Wordlacer is a young woman, a script writer working for Lucifer when he takes her in and fighting ghosts when the time calls for it. Almost always exhausted, she has near permanent dark circles under her eyes but is otherwise fairly normal looking, if a bit grumpy looking. Lucifer is the devil…and he’s the good guy in my story….even though he sleeps around a lot, drinks (though he can’t get drunk), is lazy and a bit cruel.)
19. Introduce an OC that means a lot to you (and explain why)
I put a lot of time and effort into my OCs—even if it doesn’t always look like it—and they all mean a lot to me.
20. Do any of your OCs sing? If they sing, care to share more details (headcanon voice, what kind of songs they like etc)?
Dy’meir is the only notable one who sings and she mostly sings old folk songs. Think Celtic songs.
21. Your most artistic OC?
Probably Shezu. And, no, that’s not a pun based on the fact that I adopted her name as my Username for almost everything.
22. Is there any OC of yours people tend to mischaracterize? If yes, how?
Nope. My characters are usually well represented and most are straightforward.

There’s several design changes, but that’s basically it.

Most likely to meet? Probably Shezu.

Probably Ran, with the whole, DC Comics, Wonder Woman thing.

I usually tend to favor long hair and woman. Most of the woman I try to make athletic too, though I’m not exactly a great artist. 
And I tend to favor pants and boots. Oh! And ponytails.

This here little written meme-journal entry-thing is not going to ask you what your character looks like. It is not going to ask what your character's favorite color is. It's not even going to ask what your character would do if cupcakes fell from the sky. This, my friends, is going to put you to the test--just how developed is your character. Does his/hers/its psychological build make sense and fit together? If your character isn't that developed, then I hope this helps.

Section 1: The Basics
1a. What is your character's full name?
Ran Lily Seabrook
1b. Was it their parents that named them that? If not, who?
Her mother came up with her name after her birth while holding her, her father agreed mostly because the entire nine months she’d been pregnant he’d been hopeless at coming up with one.
1c.Is there a special meaning behind the name?
Not particularly, though ‘Ran’ is not for ‘Running’ but rather an old name her mother remembered from her family history. Seeing as her family was mostly Norwegian her name is likely based on the Norse version meaning ‘Shield’ but it’s mostly just subconscious and spur of the moment.
2a. How old are they now?
23 (though Ran jumps around in years depending on the situation since she’s been at this for a long time now)
2b. When were they born?
Depends on the fandom I’m working with, but usually 1991.
2c.Where were they born?
As per DC Comics she was born in Metropolis, New York but moves to Egypt not long after she’s born—around 4—due to her father’s work. Same goes for the real world but New York City instead of Metropolis.
3a. What's their race? Human, vampire, furry? Hybrid of some sort?
Despite her powers she’s merely human.
4a. Where do they stand on the social pyramid? (e.i.: Royalty, middle class, living in poverty, etc.)
Upper middle class both before and after her parents’ deaths.
Section 2: Lifestyle
1a. Do they have a/n job/occupation? What is it?
She has two actually. One she uses as a cover (though she still works and gets paid) and one is her actual job. In both version (normal RP and DC Comics) she’s a fantasy writer, using the stories from her job to help her write as well as give her an excuse for leaving often and having such off hours. In normal RP she’s a body guard and a ‘sell sword’ of sorts. In DC Comics she’s a super hero.
1b. What motivates them to keep doing this job?
While she often thinks to quit writing as it can be a demanding job to go with her more demanding job, but the cover and pay are both too good to pass up. Her motivation for her primary job, however, is simple. She’s a good person with powers and a wish and will to help and protect people so she does.
1c. What job would they rather have?
While Ran would rather not have to work as a writer neither job is bad nor can she think of any job she’d rather do. If she could think of one, she’d be doing that instead.
2a. What are their religious views?
While Ran has found herself praying to any god or goddess that will listen to her for a miracle, she’s not subscribed to a particular religion. Perhaps it’s because, if she was, she’d feel disappointed and betrayed when everything goes to hell-in-a-hand-basket. Or perhaps it’s because she’s so used to being around super powered and amazing people and has in fact met a few ‘gods’ herself that praying to them or following them as one would seems rather…awkward.
3a. What have they accomplished? When?
Ran’s accomplished a lot. Just in basics she’s mastered defensive magic, stealth, marksmenship and martial artistry. She’s also defeated and survived a psychotic man in a paranormal asylum few others could, fought along side people that could easily be considered gods, taken down some of the worst criminals known to man, saved the world on countless occasions…oh! And written three fairly successful novels!
4a. Are they apart of any organizations?
Not exactly. She’s really her own woman and doesn’t work directly under any organization (except her publisher) but she does work with several from time to time.
5a. What do they do in their free time?
Ran usually writes or sleeps whenever she gets the chance. She has very little time to relax so that’s usually what she finds herself doing.
Section 3: Psychology
1a. Describe their basic personality.
Ran is curious, humble, kind, and eager to help. She’s never one to mope about or feel pity. She’s fairly naïve when it comes to love, but she’s smart and clever in almost every other subject. She’s a quick thinker under pressure but stubborn and pushes herself and her body past the breaking point.
2a. What part of their personality really stands out? If any part?
Out of everything three points stand out the most. One; her eagerness to help and protect people. Two; Her curiousity that usually gets her into some kind of trouble. And Three; her stubbornness that is both a gift and a curse.
3a. How do they view life? Are they an optimist? Pessimist? Realist? Idealist?
Ran is an Optimistic Realist if that makes any sense. She has a great outlook on life but she doesn’t let it fool her. While she’s hoping for the best she’s preparing for the worst.
4a. When it comes to making a tough decision, do they rely on thought or feeling? Faith or fact?
It depends on the situation but most of the time she’s a feeling and thought kind of girl. Though it makes little sense when not explained it’s still true. Ran relies on her feelings and follows them but she thinks it over. While her feelings are usually correct and true to herself, she thinks them over and relies on her mind to tell her which way to follow her feelings that aren’t always that clear. While this helps in some cases, most of the time it makes her over think her situation and second guess herself.
5a. Do they have a sense of humor?
Yes, but she’s terrible at making jokes herself so she doesn’t. Quick quips are usually the extent of her talents in that field. That being said, dirty jokes go right over her head.
6a. What motivates them to keep moving?
Stubbornness and will.
7a. What do they desire from life?
Happiness and to be helpful.
8a. What are they afraid of?
Failing or becoming one of the monsters she’s so desperate to fight.
9a. Are they superstitious about anything?
Not in particular.
10a. What secrets do they keep, if any?
In her DC Comics form, she keeps her identity secret. In other forms, she merely keeps her true job secret from her friends.
10b. How well are these secrets kept?
Very well!
Section 3: Mental Abilities
1a. What can/cannot they do mentally? (e.i. IQ, certain school subjects, mental/emotional health)
Ran is particularly creative, which comes across in both jobs, and fairly logical with it. However, she finds that her mercy often gets the better of her as a superhero.
1b. What are they strongest at?
For ‘school’ (though she never went) her strongest subject was probably PE and Creative Writing.
1c. What are they weakest at?
Math….
2a. What do they like to do?
She likes to write and swim. Swimming is nice… (it’s also nice for anyone who happens to get to watch her in those tight swimsuits)
3a. What do they hate to do?
She hates doing nothing. She likes to be active or doing things. (though she does like sleeping.)
4a. Were they educated?
Was only in grade school, barely second grade before the constant moving made her parents decide to homeschool her.
4b. If so, did they enjoy it?
She doesn’t remember school well but homeschooling was fine, though she did notice her father’s absence more when she was homeschooled.
4c. For how long?
She enjoyed it till she no longer had a home to be homeschooled in.
Section 4: History
1a. Did they have a good childhood? A bad one?
Her childhood was great till her mother died, not long followed by her father.
1b. What do they remember the most about it?
The near constant absence but also how kind her parents were and how her father would always play with her whenever he was actually home, even though he was usually exhausted. She remembers other parts but chooses to ignore them.
2a. What were/are their teen years like?
A struggle. She was alone most of her teen life with both parents dead and no family to speak of. She’s lived alone for a long time.
3a. What have they had to struggle to accomplish?
She struggled with life for a while when she was young, after her parents then teacher died. (she also struggles with romantic feelings)
4a. What do they regret the most, if anything?
She regrets letting her dad go to work that day and not protecting her teacher. (though she knows she would have died with him had she revealed herself.)
5a. How did they end up on their current path? Was it their choice?
It was her choice. Though the constant pain she had to go through did inspire her to protect others from it. She figures she has nothing left to lose but her life (except for when she meets Lorance) but others do and she wants to protect that.
6a. Did anything serious happen that changed them forever?
Both her parents died, her mother from illness, her father from a betrayal at work. After her father died and she had no known family, she was taken in by a man, a monk and a martial artist who taught her how to protect herself and how to utilize her own energy to protect herself and help others (Which is different for everyone she is told and resulted in shields and healing abilities for her). After he dies she decides to return to the main land (what she used to call America) and ended up in Gotham because it was cheep and her father had some assets there. After helping Batman, she decided she wanted to do that and became a hero.

1a. Who are their parents?
Jake and Miranda Seabrook
1b. What are their parents' races?
Both human and both white, her father born in Scotland, raised in London and marrying in America. Her mother is simply American.
1c. Are they still alive?
No. Her mother died to illness and her father died to bullets (betrayed at his job and killed along with the rest of the staff).
2a. Do/did they have any siblings? How many?
Ran was an only child.
2b. Are they still alive?

3a. Where did the family originate?
Her father was born in Scotland to an American Mother and Father who had moved there. Her mother is American.
3b. How has it changed from the last generation to the current?
Her Grandparents on either side are American if that’s the question asked.
Section 6: Relationships
1a. What do other people think of them?
They usually underestimate her but find her physically attractive when they first meet. However, when they see the scars she has littered across her body, they usually think she’s a victim of an abusive relationship. (it doesn’t help when they first see Lorance…)
2a. What is their sexual orientation?
Straight, though she’s pretty clueless….Even with Lorance…
3a. Are they involved with anyone romantically? Who?
Yes. A friend’s oc named Lorance.
3b. What do they like/love about this person? What do they dislike/hate?
She loves how strong and smart he is, how he can keep so calm and how he doesn’t really seem to mind her scars or job. She can be open with him.
She doesn’t always understand him though…particularly when he pushes…certain things. She doesn’t mind the pushing but she does mind that she doesn’t understand!
4a. Do they have a best friend? Who?
She has several, all of which she trusts with her life. She considers most of the heroes she trusts to know her real identity best friends. Namely Roy Harper, Ansel, Richard Greyson, and Kaldur.
4b. Why are they best friends?
It’s hard not to be friends after spending so much time together. Plus with Ansel she practically raised him. But she’s a friendly person anyway so she simply gets along really well with them and has their back.
4b. Any other friends?
If she knows a hero she’s friends with them….
5a. Do they hate anyone? Does anyone hate them? Who?
Most Villains. Particularly Joker and Scarecrow.

Ran is incredibly Naïve about romantic matters.
She’s incredibly stubborn.
She’s also taken, though for a long time she was free. (lost your chances!)
